Déjà Vu

It was a dark night I was walking down the lane where I was going or what I was doing I had no idea. It was all dark I could hardly see anything in front of me. And suddenly a flash of light was in front of me at the time I realized it was a train rushing towards me and I was walking on the railway tracks I was unable to move and suddenly some body pulled me off the track and I was saved. When I turned and looked back I see a dirty old man with torn cloths on and dirt on his face. I had never seen that men ever in my life but I was thankful that he saved my life I was so frightened by the incident that I couldn’t even speak a word all I could do was to express with my tears and with sign language that thank you very much. The old man had a strange spark of hope in his eyes and with a humble tone he said “Everything is going to be all right and never think you are alone god is with you”. I was astonished that how could he know that I was going through trouble and the moment I was thinking why I was alone. I walked to my car parked in the road and when I looked back the old man was gone I came back to my house had my supper and went to bed. Next morning I woke up with a bang at my front door I walked down to the front door opened and saw nobody was there an envelope was lying out at the steps. I took the envelope it was a strange one it was not addressed to any body rather was blank and when I opened it I could see a blank letter signed Mr. Simond. Strange I don’t know no body called Mr. Simond who was he and why he has sent me a blank letter. I was getting late for my office so I took of I placed the letter on the desk. While I was driving my way to the office I saw the dirty old man sitting on the rocks near the railway track I pulled off my car went straight to him and I said “Thank you for saving my life last night” and he was surprised he said “Young lady when did I saved your life I had never seen you” I was confused as I was getting late for my office I rushed and drawn a conclusion that as he was an old men he must have forgotten and it was the night time he must not have seen me properly so he is not recognizing me. I reached my office but a bad news was awaiting me my boss called me to his cabin and handed a paper to me it was stating that I was fired I could not understand what was going on why I was fired? I was working there all my life for the past 4 years and my work profile was consistent. I had a big fight there with my boss about the situation and after hours of discussion I took my things and walked out of the office I was so sad that I could not understand where to go. Then I thought to visit my friend who was staying near by. I went there and I was about to ring the doorbell and somebody said “Excuse me are hear for Mrs. Ray “I turned back and it was there neighbor Mr. Ram and he said that my friend was ill this morning and was taken to the hospital this morning. I rushed to the hospital and when I reached there I saw my friend in the I.C.U and his husband was standing there I walked near him and asked how did this happened and he said she had a very bad chest pain in the morning. And we saw the doctor and when we asked how is she doctor said “She is in danger” and after 5 hours of long wait the doctors declared her dead. I was so filled with grief I was here to discuss with her about my day that how I lost my job. All I could do was I went near his husband he was crying like a baby as he loved his wife so much all I could say was “ Please Rahul don’t cry I know you loved Ria so much everything is going to be fine”. After there family member arrived I took off the hospital and was driving back to my home. All these thought of losing my job and my good friend ria I was so filled with pain and tears were rolling down my eyes I pulled my car off the road and started walking I was so upset and was unable to know where I was walking which way I was going. All I could see in front of me was darkness and suddenly a light flashed and the moment I realized I was on the railway tracks I was unable to move and somebody pulled me of the tracks and to my surprise it was the old man and i was unable to react at the very moment tears were rolling down and I said with my heavy tone thank you for saving my life and he said with the same spark of hope in his eyes “Everything is going to be all right and you are not alone god is with you” I walked down to my car and went back home had my supper after a so strange painful day I went to bed I was lying there and crying about the losses and didn’t know when I fell asleep and I woke up the next morning with a bang at my front door and walked to my front door and when I opened it it was a man with an envelope in his hand I took the envelope and started reading the letter it was an offer letter from somebody called Mr. Simond who had offered me a good post and a good salary package …. It was like Déjà vu haven’t I seen all this …. It was so strange…..
